Usually, the processing time of the government is for five weeks. Upon approval, the MOM issues an In-Principle Approval letter, which needs you to complete the registration in Singapore within six months. The EP is valid for one or two years period, and renewable by the expiry, given that the same employer continues the employment. Remember that each EP application ties the employer and employee together.
